Preparing for laser hair removal appointment:
About the machine:
- No recent sun or tanning bed exposure
- No spray tan present on skin
- Cleanly shaven skin day of or night before
- Healthy intact skin in treatment area
- Discontinue retinols/Glycolic acids 1 week prior on treatment area
- No anticoagulants/blood thinners
- No waxing, tweezing, plucking between treatments
- Hair must be brown or black. Laser hair removal does not work well on blonde, grey, or red hair
- 6-8 sessions recommended depending on area treated

- Arms: 4-6 weeks

This treatment is best for diffuse and multiple brown pigment. No numbing required and minimal pain. Downtime is also minimal and can expect the brown lesions to initially darken and then take a few weeks to fade. Multiple sessions typically needed.

This is a no downtime laser facial that kills bacteria and helps with acne. It also improves generalized tone, texture, and helps build collagen. This treatment makes your face feel like you've spent the day at the beach in the sun without the damage. Think of rosy glow perfect before special events since there is no downtime. No numbing required because this feels like a warm hot stone massage to the face. This treatment can be repeated every other day for a severe acne breakout. It the perfect pre-event treatment and addon to a dermaplane and SknLab facial.
Vascular lesions:
We can treat broken capillaries, superficial/small blue veins, cherry angiomas, and diffuse redness. Depending if vessels are more superficial versus deep, veins can immediately disappear or darken initially and then fade over the next several days. Cherry Angiomas darken and then disappear over a few weeks. If treating leg veins, please note that deep and varicose veins (any vein that is bulging) can't be treated. Post instructions for leg veins include post compression stockings for 1 week day/night (except when bathing), no sports/exercise, or activities that cause heat in the body such as hot showers, hot tubs, and saunas.
