CO2 Laser Resurfacing
We offer the newest in CO2 laser skin resurfacing using the Helix by Deka featuring the CoolPeel©, Fusion, and Sultra (1570nm) technology. This machine offers varying levels of intensity from light, medium, to deep treatments. The Fusion technology allows to choose between fractional ablative and nonablative procedure or a fusion of both. Traditionally ablative resurfacing done with a CO2 laser has always been associated with long recovery times. The Helix offers the results of a traditional CO2 laser with a shorter recovery time.
CO2 laser helps correct skin texture, wrinkles, build collagen to help tighten the skin, hyperpigmentation, and scarring.

CoolPeel treatment is an award winning fractional ablative CO2 laser with less downtime. This treatment works best as a series of 3 treatments approximately 6 weeks apart. This treatment is best for hyperpigmentation, superficial wrinkles, and texture.
Medium and deep Deka fractional ablative is best for deeper wrinkles, acne scars, and etched-in lines.
Sultra is a gentle, fractional nonablative (1570nm) thermal collagen stimulation that bypasses the skin and penetrates deeper for collagen stimulation and tightening.
Fusion is a mix of the ablative fractional CO2 laser with the nonablative Sultra for enhanced results and faster healing. The main advantage of the Fusion is enhanced skin tightening. This combination is the most recommended treatment due to getting 2 lasers in one treatment with added bonus of faster healing time.

Results from these procedures (after completed series) typically last up to 1 year. You can extend the life of your results when using medical grade skincare and sun protection.

CoolPeel:
CO2 laser results with less downtime. This treatment works best with 3 initial consecutive treatments about 4-6 weeks apart. This treatment helps with texture, fine lines/wrinkles, hyperpigmenation, and overall sun damage. The ideal age for a CoolPeel is 20-30. Ages 30 and above most likely need a deeper treatment. If unsure, it is best to book a consult.
Downtime approximately 1 week with days 1-3 the most obvious downtime. Downtime can include redness, dark red/brown patches on skin, swelling, and flaking of the skin.

Deka Medium Depth Treatment:
This service is best suited for ages 30-40. It is moderately deeper than the superficial CoolPeel to address fine lines/wrinkles, mild general aging, pigmentation, texture, and tone of the skin.
Downtime approx. 1 week. Initial redness followed by a brown, sandpaper texture that will flake off. Swelling. The first 3-4 days are the most significant downtime. More than one treatment may be needed for best results.

Deka Fusion Deep Depth Treatment
The average age for Deka Fusion Deep is ages 45 and above. Book the Deka Fusion Deep CO2 laser for severe sun damaged skin, deep wrinkles, laxity, and/or deep scarring such as acne scarring. This treatment combines the ablative CO2 laser at a deeper level along with the nonablative 1570 wavelength also at a deeper level to address skin laxity. This depth is similar to what plastic surgeons do after they have completed a facelift.
Approximate downtime: 1-2 weeks. The deeper treatment can take more up to 2 weeks for complete healing. The first 5 days will be the worse for swelling and healing of the face. Week 2 typically consist of scabbing and pink areas. The deep pricing includes Ariessence PDGF (growth factors) applied after treatment to accelerate healing and improve results. Nitrous sedation is recommended and included in pricing. There is a possibility of needing an additional mild Deka or CoolPeel to give best results after 6-8 weeks. Package pricing for those will be given.

Deka Fusion Body:
Co2 laser to the the body can take longer to heal. Legs and Abdomen typically take an average of 3 weeks to turn dark and peel. An overall pinkness to the skin can last in the area for a couple of months.

Ariessence PDGF:
We also offer man made (in lab) growth factors (platelet derived growth factors) to speed up the healing process following your ablative CO2 laser treatment. Ariessence PDGF is applied topically to the skin after your laser treatment. This product accelerates wound healing, stimulates collagen and elastin production, and overall skin rejuvenation. It is more consistent and potent than PRP/PRF and doesn't require a blood draw.
